Production notes
“This is by far the riskiest and most rewarding wine I have ever made. A small selection of barrels from 2015 have remained in the cellar, and with each passing year (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, & 2020) the lees from the most recent vintage was saved so that these 2015 wines could be passed through that fresh lees and returned to barrel. With each year’s lees, the viscosity, character and blend of varietals became more complex in the blend. To ensure the age worthiness of this wine, I have blended select barrels from each vintage along the way to continually balance the acid, tannins and character of this long-term project.” ~Coco
