2021 Coco's Reserve Sagrantino *Enthusiast Club Only*
Tasting notes
We eagerly invited Connie & Charlie Crawford’s Sagrantino (Saag-ran-teen-oh) into our cellar in 2021 for this inaugural vintage. Originally from the Umbria region in central Italy, this grape is rarely planted elsewhere. It grows well in long, hot growing seasons allowing development of thick, dark skins resulting in naturally high-tannin wine. This wine is BIG! Bold tannins complimented with high acidity, this wine will stick to every part of your mouth. Lay this one down for years and it will stand the test of time beautifully. Expectdeep ruby-red color with aromas of brushed leather, black currents, pepper jelly and cedar box. *Limit 1 bottle per membership
