Tasting notes
This wine spent only nine months aging in barrel, allowing Phinny Hill Vineyard to take center stage without being exceedingly influenced by time and oak characteristics. Aromas of red licorice, fennel seed, pie cherries and black peppercorns. Savory flavors linger along with black plum and pepper, staying on the palate long after each sip. Another expressive, sincere tribute to our friend, the late Dick Beightol of Phinny Hill Vineyard.
